On/Off Valves

The glandless bellow valves can be supplied for manual operation or actuated. For these valves the free flow cross-section corresponds to the full diameter of the pipe. In these valves the only material to come into contact with the product are borosilicate glass and PTFE. The valves are therefore fully corrosion resistant and chemically inert. Because of their construction (bellows design and valve seat) , these items are not suitable as control valves.

Jacketed Angle Valve

Jacketed valves can be heated or cooled in the critical region of the valve face. The design of the valve face. The design of the valve bellows is different to that of the equivalent unjacketed valve i.e. the bellows are not interchangeable between the two types.

The limiting operating conditions are as follows:

  • Temperature: 200 deg C
  • Temperature difference: maximum 50K between inner pipe and jacket.
  • Pressure in inner pipe: 2 bar gauge.
  • Pressure in jacket: 1 bar gauge
  • If non-standard jacket connections (e.g. hose connectors) are required, this must be specified separately when placing the order.

Jacketed Straight-Through Valve

Jacketed valves can be heated or cooled in the critical region of the valve face. The design of the valve bellows is different to that of the equivalent unjacketed valve, i.e. the bellows are not interchangeable between the two types.

The limiting operating conditions are as follows:

  • Temperature: 200 deg C
  • Temperature difference: maximum 50K between inner pipe and jacket.
  • Pressure in inner pipe: 2 bar gauge.
